I began teaching yoga in 2001, after spending many years as a natural competitive bodybuilder. The years of lifting weights began to take a toll on my body, with shoulder and hip pain, so I went in search of an alternative to the “pumping iron” scene.

Exit pain- Enter Yoga

I was so impressed with the positive effects yoga had on my life, not only physically, but mentally and spiritually as well, it became my passion to share this knowledge with others.

My themed classes offer a unique fusion of alignment, anatomy, and strength with a healthy dose of humor and fun while cultivating a calm and centered mind. My quirky sense of humor may break out suddenly throughout class, and I always remind my students to not take themselves too seriously.

I am a 500 hr Certified Yoga Instructor, registered as an Experienced Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. I feel so much gratitude to my teachers for their generous spirits and sharing their knowledge and creative forms of instruction. I feel yoga has offered a beautiful transformation in my life, and I continue to embrace every day of life as a learning experience.

I share my yoga practice with others, teaching at several locations on the west side, offering corporate classes, workshops, private instruction, sports therapy, yoga parties, and outdoor classes.

We are not human beings on a spiritual journey.
We are spiritual beings on a human journey.
